Mandate

The Bruce County Genealogical Society’s mandate is to keep the lives of our County Ancestors alive. They also aim to assist those of you who are researching your own ancestors. We help to find all there is to know about your family. The Archives and Reading Room is upstairs in the Bruce County Museum in Southampton. It’s a place full of history. It’s a good place for you to begin. Any one of our members will be happy to talk with you. They can share what they have found about their family trees in the Archives. Or just ask the staff what records are available for you to peruse.
