After many years of keeping our membership fees unchanged, the Bruce County Genealogical Society will adjust its membership fees for 2027 Membership Renewals and New Memberships.
A Membership Fee Update for 2027
This modest increase reflects the rising costs of producing and mailing our quarterly “Bruce Bulletin“, as well as the need to bring our membership fees more in line with those of other genealogical societies in our area. We remain committed to keeping membership affordable while continuing to provide valuable resources, programs, publications, and opportunities to connect with others who share an interest in family history and the heritage of Bruce County.
BCGS Membership rates for 2027 will be:
Individual Membership – Digital Newsletter: $25
Individual Membership – Print Newsletter: $30
Family Membership: $35 – two Digital, one Print (if requested)
Institution Membership: $25 (Digital), $30 (Print)

Our membership timeline runs from January 1st to December 31st, with renewal notices going out in November via the Newsletter and here, and a reminder in January of the renewal year.
Please note: Memberships are not tax-deductible as we are a Charitable Organization. We can’t issue a charitable receipt for a membership. We can only issue receipts for extra amounts given as a donation. Charity#: 86284 0014 RR0001
