Meetings (In-Person Events)

The Bruce County Genealogical Society (BCGS) gathers from March through November. They network with fellow members through events that explore the history of Bruce County. These events give researchers of all experience levels and ages access to information for their Family Trees. Some of our events are held in the Theatre in the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre (BCM & CC). These events, presented by knowledgeable speakers, are always worth attending. Every year, we enjoy taking you out. We participate in a Cemetery Walk & Talk in one of our many Bruce County Cemeteries.

Our Executive Meetings are held on the second Mondays in April and September via Zoom, unless otherwise called by the President. Our Annual General Meeting is held via Zoom. During our meeting, you will hear about the activities of the Bruce County Genealogical Society over the past year. You will also learn what it hopes to offer next year.
